Safari Blue

Settling soil on the traditional dhow when visiting Zanzibar could be one of the highlight of your trip. The SAFARI BLUE trip starts from fumba the perfect starting points to explore Menai bay and official conversation area. Home of beautiful uninhabited island, this area is stunning and frequented by humpback and bottle-nosed dolphins. On arrival at Fumba clients are given a briefing on the safari adventure where dolphins are sighted on approximately 90% of trip.

The anchors is dropped at Kware sandbanks where sunshades are set up and guests have the chance to go snorkeling in the coral reef assisted by the guides. After snorkeling, guests are offered refreshment to whet their appetite before heading back to Kware for lunch under the remaind trees. Drinks are served throughout the day lunch is a buffet of tropical fruits in season. After lunch, you can sunbathing, snooze or visit the beautiful mangrove lagoon where depending on the tide you can laze by taking a swim in the adventurous guests there is opportunity to sail in an “NGALAWA” a local outrigger canoe. After this it’s back to FUMBA around 17:00.

Mnemba Island

At only 20 minutes boat ride away is the Mnemba atoll, a marine conversation are surround by thriving, vibrant reefs and the crystal clear Indian ocean.  

The water are terming with an overwhelming number of beautiful tropical reef fish, green turtle graze peacefully amongst in heads of plates and honeycomb corals, and resident pod of curious bottle-nosed dolphins that appears often offering a once in a lifetime chance of visitors to interact with these splendid marine mammals in a natural environment.

For the very luck guests migrating humpback whale can be spotted during during July – September and whale shark from November – January. A full day excursions leaves at around 09:00 in the and returns in the afternoon. Lunch can be provided and you can enjoy your lunch on the beautiful beach or in the shade of the show dhow surround by the Zanzibar has to offer (subject to tides).

Jozani Forest Reserve

Your tour around the Jozani forest Reserve will be led by an experienced guide, with good knowledge of the  reserve’s Flora and Fauna. As you follow park’s network of nature trails, keep an eye out for some of the forest’s residents. A s well as the colobus monkey, there are Skye’s Monkeys, bush pigs, Zanzibar suni, tree hyraxes and Ader’s Duiker, as well as more than 40 spices of birds  – not least among them a species of Fischer’s turaco with unusual colored wings. The forest is also rumoured  to be home to the elusive leopard, although it’s been several decades since there have been any official sightings.

Nakupenda Sandbank

Prison Island

It was a private place of detention for slaves in 1883 when a jail was built on the island, thus the name “prison island” the jail was never used and the ruin can still be seen. Also known as changuu and quarantine island where you will find a conversation area dedicated to the endangered aldabra tortoise.

Whites there are babies and juvenile, some tortoise are nearly 180 years old after admiring our large reptile friend, take a tour of the historical prison which once used to house rebellious slaves and was later used as quarantine site sheltering the main island from epidemic like yellow fever. Getting a little hot? Why not go for a snorkeling in the crystal clear water that surrounded the island or swim and relax on the white sands. The tour including with snorkeling equipment.  

Kizimkazi DolphinsTour

Kizimkazi is located in the southern most point of Zanzibar and is reckoned to be one of the best location for the sporting dolphins, the tour take one hour drive out of the hotel to kizimkazi, is a home of large number of bottle-nosed and spinner dolphins, beautiful coral rock and tropical fish, on your arrival you are given a short safety briefing and the dos and don’t wit these magnificent yet wild mammals.

You then board a boat and set a sail on the Indian ocean in the search of the dolphins. you can get as close up to 20 meter away from these sleek and grey dolphins. They jack – knife through the water something showing off their acrobatics with jumps and twists. In the past some tourists have been lucky enough to swim and snorkeling with these magical animals. However dolphins are not tame, and can be shy and elusive. Although visitors see dolphins on the majority of outing, there are no guarantees that there be sighting.

There is superb snorkeling in pristine coral reef and you can swim in the clear, warm water of the Indian ocean. You will return to beach for lunch where you can swim in the shallower water.

Salaam Cave

Salaam cave is a cave that attracts many people from its beauty. Inside this cave, you will go swimming with the turtles that are found in Salaam cave. Our tour will take half an hour inside the cave.

Village Tour

Village tour is a type of tour that will give you the opportunity to get to know and learn different things including life and Zanzibar culture. 

Usually will pick you up at the hotel around 9:30 after breakfast at the hotel to visit some village that available in Zanziabar island after walking around the village we will go directly to the government school for learning how Zanzibar’s students get knowledge and you can make donation for them. After this we will get good chance to ride our Zanzibar Ferrari (Local transport). After that we go to special house for class cooking, after this we will wait for lunch. Hinnar tattoo you can paint if you need because there is a special woman always she paints hinner tattoo for you.

Stone town Tour/City Tour

The city tour is very flexible and can be adapted to suit interests and time frame  a shopaholic, culture vulture or history buff we have something to suit everyone. If you hunt for antiques and souvenir shop follow David Livingstone’s time in Zanzibar and with path of the slave trade. Your guide will then take you into stone Town for walking tour of stone town and talk you through it’s history. You will be taken along many of the town’s narrow streets where you can get a feeling for the old colonial and Arabic architecture that are so prevalent through hoot. 

You will visit landmark such as the old fort , the house of wonder, the fish market and the former slave market site where your guide will tell you the history of slave trade in Zanzibar, after the tour there is an opportunity for guests to do some shopping in their own time.

03 DAYS 2 NIGHTS WHALE SHARK SAFARI TRIP TO MAFIA ISLAND

DAY 1 
Depart by flight from Zanzibar around 14:00 or 16:00 from Dares Salaam to Mafia in the evening flight. On arrival, you will be met by your lodge driver who will transfer to the lodge. Relax at your accommodation or choose from one of the many extra optional activities available on this unique island. Overnight a your selected accommodation.

DAY 2
After breakfast, enjoy your whale shark excursion. Whale sharks are present on Mafia Island year-round but peak. Check the tides and activities on offer from your lodge on a daily basis. If you’re very lucky you might be there for a turtle nest hatching also! In the evening time, you will have a chance for a city tour in Mafia Inslandlearn how the people of mafia island live, and history later Enjoy your overnight at your chosen accommodation.

DAY 3
After a final leisurely breakfast, You will have 5hrs for snorkeling at Chole Island and spending your last Day on Mafia Island, your driver will transfer you back (across the island) to the airstrip. Catch your flight back to Dares Salaam at 17:35 – 18:10 if you are from Zanzibar we will take the flight at 17:00 return back to Zanzibar Services end.
